  • Knowledge sharing, cooperation, training: We prepared and held hundreds of meetings on various topics with staff and external stakeholders (e.g. companies, U of Ljubljana, etc.).

  • Public procurement: We prepare technical documentation and realize public procurements (computer equipment, landline and mobile telephony, student identity cards, MFDs, Oracle maintenance, network, AIPS, diplomas).

  • Acquired several industry certificates; we started with zero (0) and worked our way towards certificates ITIL, PRINCE2, CISCO, Veeam, Microsoft, VMWare, Certified Business Process Manager.

  • We set up a system of authorized users at faculties (ICT coordinators, e-learning coordinators), organized staff training, held regular information, professional and steering meetings, etc.

  • Cooperation:

    • ​Working groups: Rectors' Conference working group (Chair: dr. Izidor Golob, 2015-), Arnes expert panel (Chair: dr. Izidor Golob, 2016-), working committee for student surveys, etc.

    • Cooperation with the police, courts, and Information Commissioner in security incident cases.

    • Cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport (eVŠ e-enrolment service).

  • ​Securing and cooperating in projects: SRA, Moodle Inspire, DidaktUM, BLATT, and several other projects we prepared or cooperated in.

  • Drawing up annual reports (SRA; self-evaluation, re-accreditation of UM) and project reports (BLATT, Didakt.um).

  • HR changes and restructuring, revision of job descriptions and job tasks, process and procedure inventory.

  • Mentorship of high school and university students.

  • Motivational efforts/improving workplace relations.

  • Preparing and setting the financial plan and monitoring CCUM spending (alignment with approved plan, payment orders, contracts and purchase orders).

  • Comparison of CCUM with other computer centres in higher education around the world (Gartner, BencheIT).

  • External services for the Student Dormitories unit.

  • User authentication for Jožef Stefan Institute Grid.

  • Self-service issuance of SSL server and personal use certificates for users (staff, students).

  • Due to relatively high staff turnover, we conducted over 100 job interviews.
