Instructions for resetting the password for employees
Employees must - before resetting the password - enter in the user profile in the application IT-Kiosk the following information:

mobile phone number where they want to receive a security code (SMS) and
-
a security question with an answer.
How to input the data: After logging in IT-Kiosk, choose 'Personal Data' (marked with red) in the menu 'My settings'. Within the data, which are located in the lower part of the screen (highlighted in yellow) enter the already mentioned data.
New window (“You will receive an SMS message shortly“)
is displayed. Upon receipt of the SMS, confirm the receipt of the message by selecting
(Yes) or (No)
Provided user entered the data, he/she can perform a
password reset at https://ponastavigeslo.um.si/ by following instructions:
1. On the first screen, enter your username and confirm by clicking Začni postopek ponastavitve gesla (Start password reset process).
2. On the next screen, it is necessary to enter the mobile phone number that was listed as a contact - employees have entered it in IT-kiosk, students have it in AIPS.
The system compares the numbers and if they are equal, user must confirm the sending of the SMS (Potrdi pošiljanje SMS sporočila). After that the code is sent to your mobile phone.
3. Insert the received code in the required field on the next screen and confirm by clicking Nadaljuj s postopkom (Continue with the procedure).
4. The next screen differs for employees and students.
Employees enter the answer to their security question. This is a combination of question and answer, which has been pre-entered by the user in the application IT-Kiosk. In order to continue with the procedure, the question must be answered with the exact content.
After confirming the field Potrdi odgovor (Confirm answer) you can change your password.
5. On the next screen enter the new password twice. Confirm by clicking on Spremeni geslo (Change password).
6. You will receive a notification about the success (failure) of performance. In the event of failure, the application returns to the home screen of reset your password.
Note: After successfully setting a new password it is be necessary to re-set passwords on all devices and systems, from which you sign or connect (eg. Eduroam on mobile devices).
